GLOBAL EXCLUSIVE MEDIA RIGHTS

Late 2011 MAS took the challange of representing the FEB and its most pretigious properties, including the 2012 Spanish National Team Pre-Olympic Tour and "Gira Pre Eurobasket 2013" With team USA, Australia, France, Tunisia, Great Britain and Argentina, bringing their very best roasters: Gasol, Ibaka, Navarro, Tony Parker, Batum, Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, Ginobili, Scola, Loul Deng.

The teams and players above were invited to play on Spanish soil vs the National Team between the 10th and 24th of July 2012, just before to the London Olympic Games. Media Action Sports commercialised on behalf of FEB (Spanish Basketball Federation) all media, and marketing rights worldwide for all matches.

The Deal

A tour that has traveled around the peninsula with unprecedent attendence success and TV audiences.

The National Team lead by world recognised names such as Pau Gasol, Marc Gasol, Rudy Fernandez, Ricky Rubio, Serge Ibaka, J. C. Navarro or Jose Calderon have won a World Championship title, two silver medal at the Olympics and two European crowns in the last six years.


MAS tasks included to reach a new agreement with a local Spainish broadcasters for the next package of rights, as well as distribution the annual tour of the National Team, which is played in Spain every year.

The package was awarded to RTVE in a multi year, multiplatform deal. La 1 and Teledeporte covered the 2012 Spanish Tour, providing the perfect prime time window for sponsors and the sport of Basketball to record breaking audiences.

The FEB has launched new events, TV and media content from 2012 and during 2013, which promote the 2014 World Cup of Basketball to be held in Spain.

An example of this is "Heroes de Oro", a one hour behind the scenes documentary, of the past 2011 Eurobasket in Lithuania won by the Spanish Team in summer of 2011, and broadcast with great rating success in Spain mainstream channel.

MAS has developed a number of audiovisual formats which the Federation is currently exploiting in a number of media platforms. Our team have overviewed FEB's sponsorship strategies and provide new media and TV rights distribution services for the benefit of the FEB.
